Elements has been acquired by a new ownership group led by Reese Harper and Wade Anderson. We’ve invested personal capital to secure Elements’ future, and we’re committed to operating it as a focused, long-term software business.
Our goal is simple: ensure Elements remains a stable, trusted platform — and continue improving it in close partnership with the customers who rely on it.
What Happened
In recent months, Elements Technology went through an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC) process. An auction was held, bids were submitted, and our group was selected as the winning bidder. We have now closed the transaction and assumed ownership of Elements’ assets.
Why We Stepped In
What matters most to us is you — the advisors, firms, coaches, and teams using Elements to create clearer financial conversations and better outcomes.
We believe deeply in the Elements methodology. Financial Vital Signs, intuitive client experiences, and longitudinal tracking remain a powerful way to help clients — especially accumulators, younger clients, and those who value simplicity over complexity.
We also see strong early results from customers deploying Elements in workplace and employer-sponsored plan contexts, a use case we’re excited to continue supporting and expanding.
What Stays the Same
- Elements remains active and available for current customers
- The core methodology and Financial Vital Signs remain central
- Your ability to work with clients and prospects continues uninterrupted
What We’re Focused on Next
Our near-term focus is stability, reliability, and polish — not a dramatic pivot.
Over the next 60–90 days, we’re prioritizing:
- Listening directly to customers about what’s working and what isn’t
- Strengthening core workflows and platform performance
- Improving support responsiveness and communication
- Clarifying where Elements delivers the most value and doubling down there
Once that foundation is solid, we’re excited to continue building Elements in ways that meaningfully support our customers’ evolving needs.
Let’s Talk
If you’re a current customer, we’d love to hear from you. Your feedback will directly shape where Elements goes next.
If you’re evaluating Elements, we’re happy to walk you through the platform, share how firms are using it today, and discuss what’s ahead.
FAQ
Is Elements shutting down?
No. Elements is operating normally and is positioned for long-term stability.
Will pricing or contracts change immediately?
No surprise changes. If changes are ever considered, they’ll be communicated clearly and well in advance.
Is there a new roadmap?
Our first priority is stabilization and listening. We’ll share clearer roadmap priorities once that work is underway.
